Reel 2, carrier plane pilots are briefed, take off, and attack Japanese ships. Japanese planes attack U.S. ships. Shows a nighttime naval battle off Guadalcanal. Shows Gen. de Gaulle aboard a French ship. Gen. Eisenhower is present at the surrender of the Italian fleet.
